Are apples good for weight loss?

Apples are one of the best low calorie snacks. Eating a whole apple is more filling than drinking the same amount as juice, because the fibre and chewing slow you down. Add a little peanut butter or cheese for protein.

Apple juice and dried apple

A 150 ml glass of apple juice has about 70 kcal but much less fibre than a whole apple. Dried apple rings are concentrated: 30 g is about 75 kcal, the same as a whole fresh apple.
